The Illiana Pullers Association will be holding their Banquet and General Meeting on Saturday March 13th at The Linden Banquet Center in Rantoul, IL starting at 1pm.
Anyone interested in learning more about the group and their classes are welcome to attend. Invitations are mailing out today to 2009 members.

The following changes have been made to Pro Farm Tractors:
Engine:
1) Each competing vehicle must have a working RPM pick up on their vehicle. The pick up will consist of a spec cord to be purchased from the IPA. The cord must be wired uninterrupted to the rear of the vehicle and is to be mounted on the back of the vehicle directly above the drawbar area. The cord must be visible from the point of pick up to the rear of the vehicle. The cord must run outside of transmission blanket and all sheet metal. The pick up MUST be in working order during competition. If a competitor’s pick up does not work at an event, a competitor may be hand tached immediately after leaving the track after a competitive pass. A competitor must be tached trackside. If a competing vehicle leaves the track area before being tached, the vehicle will be disqualified.9) Up to 466ci. 3500rpm
467 to 640ci 3000rpm
Over 640ci Factory rated rpm according to A&W Dyno Book
10) Intercoolers/icebox allowed on engines not running water injection. H2O is the only contents allowed to be used in competition.
Fuel/Fuel Containers
3) Water injection allowed w/o intercooler. Water will be subject to random testing.
Chassis:

Alterations to chassis directly above the hook point will be allowed to accommodate minimum 18"drawbar length rule (from center of rear wheels to the hook point.Change to:

There will be a vote at the General Meeting at the Banquet in March as to whether or not to lock in the rules for 3 years.
There will be an announcement in the near future for the NA Tractor class divisional meeting.
