The Mini-Rods are new to the Illiana Pullers Association as of the 2009 season with a tremendous amount of success. The class has weight breaks per motor combinations as it pits supercharged small blocks against naturally aspirated big block motors.
With motor combinations that make roughly 1100 horsepower and weighing a little under 1 ton, they can achieve wheel speeds of over 100 mph and travel down the track at over 35mph. Making the “Pocket Rockets” one of the most exciting classes offered by the Illiana Pullers Association.
